Police investigate LTA fire

Update: 1:59PM POLICE have started investigations into the fire that destroyed the LTA office in Labasa early this morning.

DPC North Senior Superintendent Naulumatua Lutunacaucau said a taskforce has been sent up to handle the investigation.

We have started with preliminary investigations and waiting for the NFA report before we assess other related elements to the case.

The fire started this morning and we received the call before 5am.

SSP Lutunacaucau said police would continue to guard the area.
