Players given green light

NATIONAL players that will be part of Fiji squad for the Japan and Hong Kong 7s tournaments will be allowed to play at the 38th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament.

During the launch of the tournament yesterday, national coach Ben Ryan said players would be allowed to represent their respective clubs. He also thanked the organisers for the timing of the event.

"Thank you very much for the timing of the tournament that fits in very nicely for Japan and Hong Kong leg of the IRB Sevens World Series," he said.

Ryan said he would scout for players during the event.
