A $27MILLION expansion project is in progress for the Fiji National University's Lautoka campus.

And according to vice -chancellor Dr Ganesh Chand, the development will mean better educational facilities for people in the Western Division.

Speaking at the FNU graduation in the Sugar City yesterday, Dr Chand said the project was possible with the help of the government.

"I am pleased to advise that the government has allocated 4.6 hectares of land to FNU where we are planning the expansion of the campus," he said.
