Regional police academy

Update: 2:13PM THE Indonesian Government today donated $US500,000 (about $F0.5m) to the Fijian government for the establishment of the regional police academy in Nabukavesi.

The donation was handed to Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama by Indonesias Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Langgeng Sulistiyono at the Government Buildings in Suva.

The donation is the first for the establishment of the academy.
