Saturday, January 04, 2014

PEOPLE have been reminded to seek assistance from animal health officers when slaughtering animals during funeral gatherings.

The reminder comes from the Agriculture Ministry's Animal Health and Production department, which said carcasses had to be totally condemned at some funeral gatherings last year.

Director Animal Health and Production, Tomasi Tunabuna said the ministry's animal health officers were available at all times to assist on this issue.
