Chief chairs provincial council

A CHIEF from Cuvu Village has been appointed as chairman for the Nadroga/Navosa Provincial Council.

Ratu Aisea Waka Vosailagi of the tokatoka Nakuruvakarua's appointment follows the death of former chairman Ratu Sakiusa Makutu last month.

A former naval officer, Ratu Aisea is the CEO of Nahina, a business run by the chiefly Nakuruvakarua clan.
