SIX players from last year's Fiji under-20 team have made the 30-member squad preparing for the Oceania playoffs in New Zealand in May.
Captain Jale Dreloa, Antonio Tuivuna, Kolinio Sivoki, Setareki Hughes, Praneel Naidu and Narendra Rao were part of the national side that finished second to New Zealand in the Oceania U20 qualifiers in Lautoka in March last year.
The 30-member training squad will march into camp at the Football Academy in Ba on Sunday.
Fiji Football Association vice-president Tarunesh Reddy said the six players would provide experience.
Reddy said the training squad would be in camp for two weeks.
"The selection for the national U20 squad is open," he said.
"We will be monitoring the other players who are part of the district teams. If they perform to our expectations, they will be drafted into the squad.
"We want to select the best players for the playoffs. Discipline will be an area that the coaching staff will be very strict on while the players are in camp. The inclusion of the players from last year's squad is a big boost."
