EMOSI Mulevoro has given up alcohol and kava in his bid to remain with the Fiji 7s team throughout the 2013/14 HSBC Sevens World Series.
The nippy playmaker, whose try in the Dubai 7s tournament this year was voted as the fans' favourite, is doing his best to maintain his spot in the Ben Ryan-coached side.
With the Englishman hard on player discipline, Mulevoro wants to be on his best behaviour on and off the field throughout this season.
"My aim is to retain my place in the team, not only for the next leg but throughout the series," the Kadavu lad said.
"I have also sacrificed this festive season to ensure I am fit. I train with the squad on Mondays and Fridays and on my own on the remaining days."
Mulevoro also gave the thumbs up to Ryan's coaching techniques. He eventually hopes to become a better player under his guidance.
"I'm happy with my performance this season but I want to improve on some areas and perform consistently throughout the series." Mulevoro made his world series sevens debut in March this year when the team won the Hong Kong title.
