MAJOR changes to the Lautoka Football Association hierarchy will be the main topic of discussion during the first council meeting next month.
The Shop N Save Blues haven't won a major title since the Champion versus Champion victory in 2010 which has prompted calls for changes within the Lautoka executives.
Lautoka Football Association president Shalendra Prasad, who still has a one-year term remaining, said the council would decide on the best way forward for them.
Shalendra said changes would be finalised by the council and then endorsed at the annual general meeting in February.
"The council appointed Sanjay Prasad as an interim vice-president last month," he said.
"Sanjay is looking after the affairs of the team. We now have a young squad comprising majority of the home grown boys. They did well against Nadi winning the Late Jimmy Ram Pratap series.
"A new training program has been set. Former national rep Bakalevu Mocemereke is helping in the coaching department.
"The appointment of the new coach will also be done at the council meeting."
Prasad remained tight-lipped on his future.
Lautoka will face Nadroga in the opening round of the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on February 18.
