NAVOSA Netball Association president Judy Kumar was not impressed with the turnout at the coaching clinic that ended yesterday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

The two-day clinic, conducted by Fiji netball coach Unaisi Rokoura, had 14 participants.

Twelve players from Greenman team and Lomavata Club from Laselase, Nadroga were also part of the clinic.

Kumar said he was hoping for a better turnout in the next coaching clinic which would be held at Vatureba in Navosa on February 22.

He thanked Netball Fiji and Rokoura for helping in the development of the sport in the Nadroga/Navosa area.

"Some of the players that turned up were tall and impressed Una (Rokoura)," Kumar said.

Kumar said the next clinic would be focused on getting the primary, secondary and club coaches.
