THE Nadi Football Association is hoping for speedy recovery of injured star players Viliame Toma and Lekima Gonerau ahead of the Champion versus Champions series next month.
Toma is suffering from a knock while Gonerau sustained an injury while playing for the Blues Sports team during in the Kriz Signs National Club Championship.
The Jetsetters have never won the CVC title since the inaugural series back in 1992.
Nadi Football Association president Navneeda Gounder said the side would start preparations from Monday.
Gounder said they had a lot of respect for the Men in Black.
"Both teams had a great tussle this year," he said.
"We met on six occasions and won four times, lost once and drew once. But Ba holds the record against us in the CVC winning on all four occasions.
"Fitness will be one area that our coach Kamal Swamy will be working on. Lack of fitness was evident in the deciding Late Jimmy Ram Pratap match against Lautoka.
"The boys will have to move out of the festive mood and reset their minds on the CVC. Viliame and Lekima are undergoing rehabilitation."
Nadi defeated Ba 1-0 and 3-1 in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League this year.
They beat Ba 3-1 in the Vodafone Fiji FACT final and 1-0 in the Pacific Cup semi-final in New Zealand.

Nadi will host the first match at Prince Charles Park on January 12 while the return match will be played at Govind Park on January 19.
