POLICE are combing the Coral Coast and parts of Nadroga for a 65-year-old man who's wanted for questioning in relation to an alleged case of arson, as a result of which his 40-year-old wife is believed to have died.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said anyone with information was requested to call 917 or the Lautoka Police Station on 6662222.

"A team of 15 police officers is conducting a house to house search for 65-year-old Eliki Suka of Midra settlement, Sigatoka, who is wanted for questioning in relation to an arson case in Sigatoka," she said.

"Suka is alleged to have information on what led to a fire case at Natavora that has now claimed the life of his 40-year-old wife and left his 8-year-old daughter admitted in hospital."

Mr Suka is believed to have information regarding a fire that destroyed the Natavora Water Bar and Restaurant near the Hideaway Resort on the Coral Coast last Monday.

Naomi Kolinisau died in Lautoka Hospital's burns unit on Wednesday as a result of burns she suffered while her daughter, Vikatoria Kolinisau, remains hospitalised with 38 per cent burns.
