THE LTA is pleading with the public to talk about road safety at home in an attempt to control the number of deaths on the country's roads.
As part of such efforts, the authority will exhaust all resources and materials to effectively spread the gospel of road safety.
Authority CEO Naisa Tuinaceva, who was in Labasa last week, said they would also increase their educational awareness programs.
"We are requesting parents and guardians to talk about road safety at home because this is one way of educating our young ones to become good road users," he said.
"We will be changing our approach next year as we work towards increasing our awareness programs to the public in a more effective way."
