SMILES brightened the Paediatric Unit at the CWM Hospital when corporate bodies and religious organisations flooded it with gifts for children.

Pacific Coatings Limited-Dulux focused its attention this year to the young ones admitted there.

National sales manager Anup Prakash said this was part of the company's corporate social responsibility.

"This year, we think that children at the CWMH are most deserving," Mr Prakash said.

The company distributed about 100 Dulux mascot dogs because of its popularity among the children.

Sister Mereani Yasaviono said the gifts kept the smile on the children's faces.

Sister Yasaviono said they had been receiving many gifts from different organisations over the past weeks.
