FIJI netball coach Unaisi Rokoura has been hunting for new players for the upcoming season.
So far she has scouted four from Lautoka whom she is keen to include in the national training squad.
The former national skipper will hold a coaching clinic in Sigatoka this Friday where she will be on the lookout for some raw talent.
Rokoura said the scouting of players was part of Netball Fiji's long term development plan to ensure they have players to supplement those who were retiring.
She said they needed a proper pathway to ensure they have a large pool of players to select the national team from.
"I have managed to scout four players from Lautoka. These four will be part of the extended squad that will start its preparation for the upcoming season in January.
"Netball Fiji will continue to search for raw talent and I hope to pick some more when I go to Nadroga/Navosa (this week)."
