A GROUP of good Samaritans and various western businesshouses have chosen to spread a little Christmas cheer and give back to residents of Loloma Home in Sabeto, Nadi.

Director of Loloma Home Adi Laite Kubunadakai confirmed six organisations had already visited the home and they were expecting six more.

"Most of the donations are groceries, things for the home and gifts for the children," she said.

"This is a big boost for us because just after Christmas, the children have to go back to school and this will no doubt help them a lot.

"Bank of South Pacific staff had visited us and brought school bags so it's a big help for us."

Staff members of Sofitel also presented the home with gifts yesterday, along with West Vodafone officials and members of the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. Wyndham Resort also gave books for the academic year

Ms Kubunadakai said there were 22 children at the home and eight mothers, all of whom would benefit from the gifts.
