THE Fiji men's soccer side dropped one place in the latest FIFA world rankings released this week.
The national side is ranked 182 and is placed sixth in the Oceania region.
Fiji hasn't played any international matches since Fair Play Brazil team's two match tour here last year.
Fiji Football Association vice-president and national team director Tarunesh Reddy said they would be lining up matches for the national side next year.
Reddy said they were hoping to secure matches against some Asian nations after New Caledonia and Vanuatu turned down offers for international matches earlier this year.
"We have to start our preparations for the 2015 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea," he said.
New Zealand is the number one in the region followed by New Caledonia, Tahiti, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
Spain remains the number one footballing nation in the world followed by Germany, Argentina, Colombia and Portugal rounding up the top five.
