Airline goes the extra mile

NEWLY rebranded domestic carrier Fiji Link will go the extra mile to keep customers happy, says managing director Stefan Pichler.

Mr Pichler, who's the CEO of parent company Fiji Airways, said Fiji Link's commitment to giving local passengers the best service was continuing process and not linked with recent announcements by US-based carrier, Inter Island Airways, that it would begin operating in the country in March next year.

He said apart from reassuring customers that Fiji Link took customer service seriously, he could not comment much on how Inter Island Airways would impact the domestic market because the airline had yet to establish services in the country.

"There have been a couple of announcements recently but no operations have started and no schedules etcetera have been revealed, we cannot comment," he said.

He said Fiji Link would ensure it retained its market share of the domestic sector by providing the best service to customers to retain their loyalty and support.

Pacific Sun was rebranded to Fiji Link last month.
