Mine produces 700,000 tonnes of bauxite

Update: 4:40PM MORE than 900,000 tonnes of dry metric tonnes of bauxite was extracted by the XINFA Bauxite Mining company in Nawailevu, Bua this year.

Group executive director Sang Lei said the portion of bauxite produced more than 700,000 tonnes of bauxite.

Mr Lei said since they begun operations on June last year, they managed to export bauxite worth $40million to China.
