THE Nadi Volleyball Association will begin its preparations for the annual Western Rally Championship tomorrow.

The Jetsetters have named the training squads for both the women's and men's teams.

Former Fiji beach volleyball rep Finau Waqa will lead the women's team.

Natabua High School rep Paul Vatucawaqa has been named in the men's team.

Nadi Volleyball Association secretary Anasa Qio said they had appointed former Raiwaqa player Charlie Samisoni as head coach. He said their aim was to win the annual tournament.

"We had a very good season this year," Qio said.

"The number of clubs increased. Now we have selected the players to represent the district in the Western Rally. There some former national reps who now reside in Nadi.

"We are hoping to get them to play for us. So they will be the surprise inclusions. The committee members will look after the affairs of the team."

Training for Nadi will start at the Airports Fiji Limited hard courts at 10am tomorrow.

The Western Rally Championship is likely to be held at the multipurpose courts in Lautoka on January 25.

Topline is the defending champions.
