Marist 7s

THE Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament is scheduled for March 7-8, 2014 at the ANZ Stadium. Limited spaces only. Registration closes February 19 (64 men's teams, eight women's teams and six classic teams). Contact Anare Wailevu for payment details 7027462.

Nadroga U20

All players interested to be part of the Nadroga U20 for 2014 season are to report to Lawaqa Park at 8am for registration followed by fitness test and trials on Wednesday 18th December 2013. You are requested to bring along your original birth certificate, canvas shoes, towel, boots, shorts, socks and change of clothes. Nadroga awards dinner

All Outrigger Nadroga rugby players, team management and officials are requested to assemble at the Nadroga Rugby House by 3pm Friday December 20 to be transported to Outrigger Resort for the 2013 award presentation dinner. For clarification call Tiko Matawalu on 7611374.

Pacific Rugby Cup

Uluinakau 7s

THE Uluinakau 7s tournament will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on January 10-11. Forty men's teams, 10 Indo-Fijian teams and eight women's teams are invited to participate. Registration fee for the men's tournament is $300, Indo-Fijian tournament $150 and $100 for the women's. Prizemoney for the men's competition is $5000, runner-up $2000, losing semi-finalists get $700, Plate winner gets $600, runner-up $500, Bowl winner $400, runner-up $300, Shield winner $200, runner-up $100. Salato Annual 7s

THE Salato Annual 7s tournament will be held at the Suva Grammar School grounds on December 21. First 24 teams will be accommodated. Entry fee is $220. Cup winner gets $2000, runner-up $800, Plate winner $300, runner-up $200, Bowl winner gets $150, runner-up $100. Prizes also for cup and plate losing semi-finalists. Time: 3.30pm — 4.30pm, venue: Damodar City Aquatic Centre. Purpose: Swim for Life coaching program. It's to teach young kids to swim. It will help them to know the dangers in the water and how to overcome. It is a three-week program. Contact: Kunaal 3302020.



TABLE tennis training clinics for schoolchildren and beginners are held at the Garden City Hall (on top of Kia Motors) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3pm to 5pm. Adults are invited to play table tennis on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and Sundays from 1pm to 3pm at the same venue. All playing equipment will be provided. X-Mas Volleyball Open Tournament held at Kinoya Sale's Court (Savai Place) on Saturday 21. Registration fee will be $50 per team and Prize-money will be $400. The Raiwaqa Volleyball Association will host a tournament at Eds Court this Saturday 21, December 2013. Registration fee is $30 per team. Main prize-money is $300. NETBALL tournament will be held on January 15-16 at Draiba Village grounds at 8am. Registration fee is $80 per team. Winner $500, runner-up $200 and losing semi-finalists $75 and best player $50. Interested teams in Nadroga/Navosa are welcome to participate and coaching clinic will also be held on the day. Only first 24 teams will be accepted and no late entries after January 10.
