Rise in dengue fever cases sparks warning

Update: 12:50PM THE Ministry of Health is urging people to take extra precautionary measures as they note an increase in dengue fever cases in the Central Division.

The dengue fever symptoms are fever, intense headache, muscle and joint pains, flushed skin or rashes on the arms and legs, and sometimes bleeding of the gums and or nose.

 

The ministry is encouraging those with these symptoms to seek medical assistance at their nearest health centre.
