WEST team manager Tiko Matawalu said East was desperate for a win and would not leave any stone unturned in their final match tomorrow.
The two sides meet in the last of the AON East versus West Challenge where it all began three weeks ago, at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
The East side, after leading for most of the first match, allowed West to come back and draw the match 22-all.
In the second game, they were overpowered by a strong West side who on their home ground looked very comfortable playing to the tunes of the crowd.
But former Nadroga skipper Matawalu believes that even though they have an advantage going into the match, the East side would be hungrier than ever.
"After a draw and a loss, they would want to save face in front of their home crowd," he said.
"They are desperate for a win and they will throw everything they have in their arsenal at us to get that win."
He said East would be strong especially after they had roped in some Flying Fijians who had just returned from their Europe Tour.
But, Matawalu said they had an advantage going into their match.
"The win last weekend is a sure advantage for us.
"Also the fact that there is a new trophy at stake is a good motivation.
"Since it is being revived, we would like to be the first ones to get our hands on it and etch our name in history.
"Our players know that and they have prepared accordingly."
