THE Fiji West Blue team upset Fiji West Black 3-0 in the Ultimate Fiji Cup boy's under-17 division at the National Football Academy ground in Ba yesterday.
However, the result did not affect the Fiji West Black side as it will feature in this afternoon's final at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Fiji West Black defeated International Football Group New South Wales of Australia 1-0 and thrashed Harbord 10-1 earlier, finishing ahead of Fiji West Blue on a superior goal differential.
Fiji West Black coach Shalen Lal said he rested a few key players.
He said they took their opponents lightly.
"The boys seemed to be over confident," the Namasau Methodist Primary schoolteacher said.
"They were very casual in their approach. I had a stern talk with the boys after the match. They will have to pull their socks up for the final."
The Ultimate Cup Fiji Cup will move to Prince Charles Park in Nadi today.
The action will kick-off at 8.30am with the girl's U15 playoffs.
