POLICE are appealing to people in the North to come forward with information regarding 26 plants believed to be marijuana that were uprooted at Siberia along the Labasa river.
Divisional Police Commander North Senior Superintendent of Police Naulumatua Lutunacaucau said they seized the plants earlier this week after receiving information from their sources.
SSP Lutunacaucau said they were yet to find the owner of the plants.
"We are appealing to members of the public in the North to come forward with any information they have regarding the 26 plants," he said.
"On the same note we are also encouraging people to come forward and report marijuana cultivators whom they know of in their areas."
