4R draws League FC

DEFENDING champions 4R Electrical has been drawn in a tough pool for the Kriz Signs National Club Championship this weekend at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

The Ba club is placed with League FC (Navua), FC Education (Lautoka) and North Pole (Suva) in Pool Two.

Pool One has United (Rewa), Civic (Suva), Blues (Nadi) and Combine (Navua).

4R Electrical, with Ba players Malakai Kanihewe, Osea Vakatalesau and Malakai Tiwa in their ranks, remains the team to reckon with following an impressive performance in the qualifying round over the weekend.

League, which has Navua reps Pranil Kumar, Inia Boko, Simione Maikali, Seveci Rokotakala, Rizwan Ali, Abdul Moshin, Sheik Moshin, veteran Sitiveni Qarua and Jesoni Takala, will be its toughest opponent.

FC Education is a relatively new look side while Suva's North Pole will have Mira Sahib, Jonas Naceva, Nathan Shivam and Ravinesh Karan Singh.

Civic looks the top side on paper in Pool One with district reps Semi Rokoqica, Emori Ragata, Ulaiasi Tamanisau, Kolinio Sivoki, Eran Underwood and David Matavesi.

Combine will have the services of Chand brothers Rajnil, Vineet and Monit, alongside Iliesa Lino while the Blues have veteran Marika Namaqa, Lekima Gonerau, William Valentine and Vilitati Ratu.

United is a new look side strapped with development Rewa players. Entry to the tournament is free and starts tomorrow at 6pm with the final on Sunday.

The winner will get $3000 while the runner-up receives $1500.
