EAST has included some Flying Fijians and Sukuna Bowl reps in their side for the last of the AON East versus West Challenge.
The match will take place on Saturday at the ANZ Stadium where the hosts will aim to save face after going down 21-35 in the second match at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka last week.
Both teams drew 22-all in Suva in the first match two weeks ago but Challenge spokesperson Malakai Veisamasama believes the third and final match would be totally different.
"Now East will go all out to win the final game and with a different approach," he said.
"The East team have included in the squad players that have returned from the European Tour and the Sukuna Bowl to strengthen their resolve to win the final clash this Saturday.
"European Tour hooker Viliame Veikoso, halfback Henry Seniloli, centre Lepani Botia and flyhalf Waisea Luveniyali along with players from the Sukuna Bowl with the likes of Army prop Vesi Rarawa, Naitasiri and Police centre Atu Turagaviu and Kevueli Bulivorovo have joined the side."
Veisamasama said the fans would enjoy the standard of rugby the two teams would display in the match.
"The level and the standard of the game is new to the local rugby scene.
"Mind you, it's the cream of the crop of the East and the West and especially with the East including some Under-20 Fiji reps and a Fiji under-18 winger in the starting line-up.
"To us that is huge development. Rugby at this level will only improve if we look after local elite and expose the next level down.
"The introduction of grade rugby is a positive as well, especially the Fiji Primary schools.
"So all in all everybody wins, including the players in the main East vs West competition, consideration the cash payments the players receive."
