CHILDREN of the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral spread the joy of Christmas to senior citizens at the Pearce Home and staff of The Fiji Times in Suva yesterday, singing Christmas carols and putting on a mini puppet show.
Sunday school teacher Litiana Cama said the children wanted to bring a little of the joy of Christmas to the elderly at the Pearce Home.
She said it was the first time for the children to perform outside church.
"This is the first time that we have gone around, that our Sunday school has gone around but we just planned to go to Pearce Home but then we came past and one of the workers here called us in," she said.
"But the reason was just to spread the Christmas cheer especially to the older people."
Ms Cama said the Sunday school received a request from the matron of the Pearce Home to entertain the senior citizens to which they had obliged.
