FRESH charges have been laid against the same group of former employees of the then Public Works Department previously charged with abuse of office and causing a loss by FICAC.
Ana Laqere, Navitalai Tamanitoakula, Amelia Vunisea, Vaciseva Laqai, Vilisi Tuitavuki, Losalini Toroca, Laisa Halafi, Tavenisa Tavaga, Taniela Railala, Thomas Harvey, Eparama Racumu and Kiniviliame Taviraki appeared in court for the third time facing charges of abuse of office and causing a loss.
The group last week appeared before magistrate Sufia Hamza and magistrate Chaitanya Lakshman on similar charges but the facts of the case differed.
In the case before Ms Hamza the group is charged with 27 counts and before Mr Lakshman they face 46 similar counts.
The group now faces 47 counts of the same offences amounting to $86,000.
