TWO Suva and Navua clubs have qualified for the Kriz Signs National Club Championship which will be played this weekend at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Civic and Northpole, which finished on top of pools two and three of the Southern qualifiers played at Buckhurst and Bidesi Park yesterday, will represent Suva in the final round.
Civic defeated Lokia United 3-0 and drew with Lami Rangers 0-0 while Northpole thrashed Friends FC and Raralevu Central 6-1 and 8-0 respectively.
Navua's League FC and Combine along with Rewa's United I FC are the other Southern teams that have qualified.
From the West, 4R Electrical (Ba), Blues (Nadi) and FC Education (Lautoka) have qualified.
Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal said the five Southern Division clubs which have qualified for the final round would give their Western counterparts good competition this weekend.
"The competition level was good (in Southern qualifiers). Participating clubs did their best and only the best five from the four pools made it through to the final round which will be played this Saturday and Sunday in Nadi," Pal said.
"We are expecting a tough competition in the finals."
