THE venue for the academy camp has changed to the HPU Gym in Suva. Previously it was to be held at the Nasova grounds.

Ambassadors 7s

THE Ambassadors 7s will be held at Thomson Park in Navua on December 21. First 24 teams will be accommodated. Entry fee is $220. Cup winner gets $2000, runner-up $800, Plate winner $300, runner-up $200, Bowl winner $150, runner-up $100. Prizes also for Cup and Plate losing semi-finalists. Netball entry fee is $80 and 12 teams accommodated. Winner gets $300 and runner-up $200. Registration deposits to be made to ANZ Bank account 08960778 before December 19. Marist 7s

THE Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Tournament is scheduled for March 7-8, 2014 at the ANZ Stadium. Limited spaces only. Registration closes February 19 (64 men's teams, eight women's teams and six classic teams). Contact Anare Wailevu for payment details 7027462.

Salato Annual 7s

THE Salato Annual 7s tournament will be held at the Suva Grammar School grounds on December 20. First 24 teams will be accommodated. Entry fee is $220. Cup winner gets $2000, runner-up $800, Plate winner $300, runner-up $200, Bowl winner gets $150, runner-up $100. Prizes also for Cup and Plate losing semi-finalists. Real TJ 7s

Fiji FA North Trial

NATIONAL U20 coach Ravinesh Kumar will be in Labasa tomorrow to conduct trials for the under-20 and under-17 national teams. We request the assistance of all the Northern districts to inform and send their best players for trials. Players have to be born in 1995 and 1996 for the U20 team and 1998 and 1999 for the U17 team. Trials will be from 9am to 12noon and 3pm to 4.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Trials on Friday will be from 9am to 11am.

Penalty shoot-out

THE penalty shoot-out, in aid of Kalyan Sports Club, Nabua, will be held at the Rishikul Primary School grounds on December 14 from 6pm. Entry fee is $3. Winner gets a male goat worth $200. Runner-up gets Fiji Bitter. Food, grog will be on sale. Contact Ashok Roy on 9972895 for more information.



TABLE tennis training clinics for schoolchildren and beginners are being held at the Garden City Hall (on top of Kia Motors) every Monday and Friday from 4pm to 5pm. Adults are invited to play table tennis on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and Sundays from 1pm to 3pm at the same venue. All playing equipment is provided. THE Nadi Volleyball Association fundraising tournament will be held at the AFL hard courts in Namaka on December 13-14. Registration fee $100 per team for women's and men's categories. The first 24 registered teams will be accommodated. Total prize: $2000.
