RAM Khelawan won the Nadi Airport Golf Club monthly medal yesterday.
The veteran golfer, who has been competing for more than 30 years and playing off a handicap of 6, carded 70 nett to win the A-grade competition.
Rakesh Chand came second on 71 nett followed by Amitesh Chandra on 72.
Ashok Goundar scooped the B-grade title on 70 nett followed by Shiva Goundar (71) and Master C S Pillay on 72.
The C-grade competition was won by Doctor Abdul Gani who carded 69 nett.
David Johns managed the second place on 78 followed by Praneet Chand on 79.
Shiva Rajan won the longest drive prize on the 17th hole.
Club captain Dr Gani said they had 40 starters.
"We had to call off play for a while on the ninth and then again on the 16th hole because of brief periods of rain.
"But we still managed to continue playing and finish the competition on time."
The season closing event this Saturday will be sponsored by Gibson Freight followed by the club's annual general meeting on Sunday.
