THE North Pole soccer club will have the 'home-ground' advantage when they compete in the National Club Championship today.

The southern zone competition will be played at Buckhurst and Bidesi parks in Laucala Bay and North Pole has been pooled with Raralevu Central and Friends United for the Kriz Signs-sponsored competition.

They will play both their pool games on Buckhurst Park and are looking forward to the competition.

North Pole was the runner-up in the Suva local league competition where they played most of their games on the same ground.

Club president Shane Hussain said they had been training on the same ground for the zonal play-off.

North Pole has the services of current and former Suva reps Jonas Naceva, Nathan Shivam and Mira Sahib.

The western zone play-offs will be held at Govind Park.
