YOUTHS in the North can now connect to the worldwide web and keep themselves informed about current affairs with the opening of the region's new Youth Resource Centre in Labasa.
Ministry of Youth and Sports director and chief guest William Naisara said the centre was accessible to all youths in the North during working hours.
Mr Naisara said youths could use the centre to conduct research and keep themselves updated with the outside world.
"The ministry believes in opening doors of opportunities for our future leaders and the resource centre will be one way of achieving this dream," he said.
"Developing our youths also means developing the nation for the future and to do this we need to enlighten our youths."
