THE 27 residents of the Labasa Ashram were visited by staff members of the Bank of Baroda yesterday with gifts.
A team from the bank's branch in Labasa headed by Fiji operations chief executive Pabitra Das, presented 27 laundry baskets and clothing hosting residents to lunch yesterday.
Mr Das said they decided to do something different and gave their office Christmas party contributions to the residents of the home.
"As part of our social obligation, we felt that it was proper that we visited the residents of the home. I have always been meaning to visit the home during my last visits and I am so glad I did it at last," he said.
