DEFENDING champions Police is making no bones about how badly they want to retain the BSP Life Sukuna Bowl challenge.
But the side is wary of the challenge from Army when the two forces face off in what is expected to be a thriller at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.
Police has named a strong team with the likes of Setefano Somoca and Seremaia Naureure who have just returned from the Northern Tour with the Flying Fijians.
The side, which defeated Army 17-15 last year, will be skippered by Suva's Samuela Bola and assisted by Tailevu fly half Amani Bosenawai.
Police team coach Savenaca Aria said his gladiators were ready for the battle.
"The team has prepared well and the players are well aware of what is expected of them and that is to return with the Sukuna Bowl," he said.
"We are confident that they will live up to the expectations of the force."
The Police versus Army match will kick off at 4pm.
