AN emotional Adi Cakobau School head girl Unaisi Senikarawa took top honours as dux during the school's prize-giving ceremony.
The Form Seven student said she was "really humbled but happy" to finish school on such a high note.
The 19-year-old scooped awards for the head girl, for top marks in economics, history, geography and mathematics, as well as for the overall best arts student.
"There are no words that can describe it. I will miss the culture of being an ACS student. I have many happy memories from here," said Senikarawa, who is interested in becoming a politician and plans to further her studies in politics and law.
"A good leader shows integrity in their work, and is a servant to his or her people, and respects them," she said.
In her valedictorian speech, she urged students to strive to make their families proud, saying "you are the one who determines whether you succeed or fail".
