A FUNDRAISING bazaar at Saint Matthews Anglican Church in Nabua yesterday injected more finances into its projects for 2014.
Priest-in-charge Reverend Fereimi Cama said they were targeting to raise $7000 which would go towards the operation of the parish and their outreach work.
"Like any other organisation, money is always the biggest challenge," Mr Cama said.
"This limits our programs.
"We have a lot of plans but we are limited with what we can do. So with bazaars like this, we hope to raise enough money to take us through the coming year so we can continue doing work for the church."
Mr Cama said as the end of the year approached, the church was focused on continuing with its work of building the spiritual lives of people.
"Towards the end of the year is one of the most trying times with the festive season.
"Part of the money raised from the bazaar will go towards our outreach program.
"My message to the members is always to best maintain our roles and responsibilities, reach out to the communities and put our words into action."
