THE Ba soccer side will be relying on its powerful Auckland fan base to inspire them in the 2013 Pacific Cup which starts at the Bill McKinley Park in Panmure, New Zealand on November 20.
The Men in Black are determined to go a step further and lift the silverware after losing 1-3 to Nadi in the final last year.
Ba won the recent Courts Inter District Championship in Lautoka and started its preparations for the international tournament yesterday.
The pool draws for the tournament have been released.
Ba is grouped with Labasa, Queensland, Savusavu NZ and Nasinu NZ.
Defending champion Nadi is drawn with Suva, Sydney, Vatukoula NZ and Nadi NZ.
Ba had earlier announced that the side would not participate in the tournament but overwhelming support from the fans saw a change in heart of the Ba Football Association officials.
Ba Football Association secretary Iliaz Khan said the fans in New Zealand were eagerly waiting their arrival.
"We have a strong fan base in Auckland and hope to entertain them with our style of soccer," Khan said.
"Both pools are evenly matched and none of the teams can be underestimated."
Ba toured New Zealand in September.
The side drew the first match 1-all with Waitakere United.
Ba went down to Auckland City 2-3 in the second match.
