IN a bid to improve service delivery, Water Authority of Fiji officials visited some rural project sites in Bua yesterday as part of its management team's yearly roadshow.
Led by CEO Opetaia Ravai, the team attended the Navave district council meeting.
Spokeswoman Fulori Turaga said Mr Ravai's trip was an opportunity to visit all depots and offices in the area.
"This is also a time for him to see how his officials are doing and the services provided to customers. Also, customers with water-related issues will have the chance to raise their concerns with Mr Ravai."
Ms Turaga said the authority wanted to improve its services to the public.
"Coming down to see customers and staff is very important to Mr Ravai because that is where he will know the situation on the ground.
"The authority is working towards improving its services to the public and to make this happen, it's crucial we visit the grassroots people and address their concerns accordingly."
