A hat-trick of tries to winger Akuila Uate, one to man-of-the-match Kevin Naiqama and brothers Tariq and Korbin Sims completed Fiji's six tries riot at Spotland Stadium in Rochdale.
Fiji produced a strong second-half performance to score 20 unanswered points. Fiji led 12-4 at the break. Ireland scored two late tries in dying stages of the game.
Coach Rick Stone was pleased with the win but highlighted they needed to improve on few areas before the next game against the Australian Kangaroos.
