BA is back in the 2013 Pacific Cup after initially withdrawing last week.
The Ba Football Association had cited injury concerns and fatigue as its main concerns for the withdrawal.
After an executive meeting on Saturday, Ba officials decided to reverse their decision.
Ba Football Association secretary Iliaz Khan said they received numerous calls from their concerned fans, especially in New Zealand after they had made the initial announcement.
He said the decision to participate in the Pacific Cup was for the benefit of the players.
"We received numerous phone calls from our diehard fans in New Zealand requesting us to reconsider the decision.
"We have informed the players and they will start training this week. The Pacific Cup is beneficial for the players."
Meanwhile defender Marika Madigi and striker Malakai Tiwa have recovered from their injuries after missing out on the Courts Inter-District Championship in Lautoka this month.
