SPORTING organisations received bonus payments from Digicel Fiji for being part of its Customer Loyalty Program.
Yesterday, the mobile network company gave out $60,000 to clubs who were part of the program.
The Fiji Karate Association, Nabua Broncos Rugby League Club, Moala Rugby Club and Basketball Fiji were some of the many clubs that benefited.
Digicel Fiji's commercial director, Andrew Skelton presented cheques to representatives of the registered clubs, saying he was happy to reward them and thankful for their support.
"I would like to thank you for your support for Digicel Fiji. I hope the money you get today will be of use to your club and enhance activities that you have planned in future for the club," he Skelton.
"Digicel Fiji is committed to Fiji and we are always looking at innovative ways to provide good value service to our customers and this Customer Loyalty Program is a good initiative to give back to the community."
More than 50 clubs and organisations are part of the program.
