THE much-awaited Common Kings are expected to be at the Nausori Airport tomorrow evening, ahead of their Thursday night performance in Suva.
Broadway (Fiji) managing partner Rajneil Sharma confirmed yesterday that the group would also be accompanied by their manager Tautua Reed and a guest artist Tenelle who has been on tour with the Kings throughout their New Zealand tour.
Mr Sharma also revealed that local music group, Dragon Music, have brought in professional Australian engineers to work on sound and lighting for the show.
"A concert of this calibre is happening after a very long time and we wanted to make sure that we provide the best for lighting and sound for this concert so we flew in some professional and experienced people to deliver just that," explained Dragon's Ken Janson.
Janson also said those engineers had worked closely with renowned boy band One Direction.
Also showing excitement for the Kings' Fiji tour was the group manager Mr Reed who said the group was excited to be playing in Fiji.
"This is our first for Fiji and we are really amazed to learn about the fan base that we have in Fiji and the love for our music is just great," he said in a statement.
