LOKIA United Football Club has booked its place at the National Club Championship.
This is after it topped the Rewa Football Association Local League competition winning nine consecutive games. Lokia has 27 points on the table.
Laced with Rewa district reps such as Peniame Drova, Epeli Saukuru, Iosefo Verevou, Valerio Nawatu, Ratu Semi Dilega and the Delta Tigers stopper Epeli Loaniceva, Lokia is confirmed for the NCC despite two games in hand.
United Sports is second with 22 points followed by defending local league champions, Raymond FC, 18.
Raymonds, led by Rewa coach Marika Rodu has lost two games from eight matches. Raymonds has to win its remaining three games to book a spot in the NCC.
Association president Nazeel Buksh said the final rounds of the league would be exciting as teams fight for the remaining spot.
"Raymonds needs to win its remaining games to qualify for the NCC," he said.
"Right now, three teams are in the running for the second spot, they are Raymonds, Navuso and United Sports.
"It will be all up to the results of the final two games."
Games will continue today at Saraswati Primary School grounds in, Manoca, Nausori.
