WOMEN will be instrumental in the campaign to return school drop-outs to the classrooms.
This is the hope of Ra Provincial Council member Mereani Rasolo as she called for the inclusion of mothers in the Tabutabuvuli Operation.
She said despite the launch of operation three years ago, students continued to leave school prematurely.
She said mothers were the first teachers during a child's early years and they knew best how to persuade a child to go back to school.
Acting council chairman Ratu Meli Bolobolo reiterated the importance of mothers in the campaign to return drop-outs to school.
