THE Fiji Roads Authority is calling on road users in the North to drive with caution on reopened roads.
Authority CEO Neil Cook said all roads were open for vehicle movement in the North.
"However, we are calling on road users to treat slippery roads with caution and approach crossings slowly as they may be dangerous," Mr Cook said.
"If people have doubts about the condition of any roads we are advising them to refrain from using them."
Mr Cook said the Urata, Qawa, and Wainikoro roads were open to all traffic.
"However, debris removal has continued on the Urata and Qawa roads from yesterday and today.
"The Wainikoro, Malau and the Nakelikoso roads have safety barriers erected on them and have been open to all traffic.
"The Taveuni North coastal road is now open and work has commenced on two sections of the West Coast Road that had turned very slippery in the past few days."
Mr Cook said work would continue on the Wailevu West Coast road until it was able to be traversed by bus even though the road was still accessible by other vehicles.
"We are liaising closely with the bus operator to ensure services will recommence as soon as they can."
