FIJI Cancer Society acting president Dr Tukaha Mua says the society has received a lot of support during the annual Pinktober campaign.
Pinktober, or pink October, is the annual breast cancer awareness month.
"A number of companies have called us and arranged lectures and donations," Dr Mua said.
He said Colgate Palmolive was giving 20 cents from every product sold to the society, and guaranteed it a minimum of $5000 for the month.
He said the popular Suva's O'Reilly's bar had also invited him to talk and gave to the cause.
Unfortunately, according to him, he said the society would not be able to access these funds because its accounts were still frozen.
"That is the thing that has limited our activities.
"Last year, we had a bra competition and we also had a ball but we cannot arrange these things as the funds are closed to us."
