SAMUELA Tui will represent Fiji at next year's World Bowls Singles Champion of Champion's tournament in New Zealand.
This was after he won the Raj Charan National Singles Championship at the Suva Bowling Club yesterday.
He beat fellow Sheraton Bowling Club member Curtis Mar after a 3-end playoff when both bowlers won a set each. The win ensures he will participate in his first ever Champions of Champions tournament.
Suva Bowling Club president Ilisoni Vakatalai said the level of competition was very high at the tournament.
"This was reflected in the quarterfinals when all four matches had to be determined by a 3-end playoff," he said.
"Some really close games were played and some sets were drawn."
Meanwhile, Litia Tikoisuva retained the Ladies title by beating Sala Nukivuli by 1.5 to 0.5 in the final of the Cooks United-sponsored event.
