NAITASIRI hitman Levani Botia has been drafted into the Flying Fijians squad for the Northern Tour.
The former Fiji sevens skipper will now miss the second leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in George and Dubai, meaning new Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan will miss the services of his favourite player for another leg.
Botia, Peni Ravai, Henry Seniloli, Asaeli Tikoirotuma and Alex Rokobaro are the five new faces in the 30-member squad that was announced at the ANZ Stadium last night.
Ravai played a grand game for Nadroga during the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge last night while nippy Seniloli was sharp for Tailevu.
Fiji Rugby Union National Academy manager Franck Boivert said Ravai would learn a lot from the tour.
"He (Ravai) is one of the young players in the team," Boivert said.
"He is very good when it comes to loose play but I think he still needs to work on his scrum. I believe this will be a huge learning experience for him."
Fiji will play Portugal (November 9, Italy (November 16), Romania (November 23) and the Barbarians (November 30) during the tour.
